Our Process
Enviro-care uses the HOST dry extraction carpet cleaning process and a hot steam extraction machine for the upholstery cleaning.
Carpet:
The HOST system works like a sponge in as it traps and holds
the dirt, odors and allergens found deep in your carpet. Because
it is a dry extraction process, there is no sticky detergent
residue to attract new soil and leaves the carpet dry and ready
to use. HOST is safe for all carpets including stain resistant,
wool and Oriental carpets using less than one teaspoon of liquid
per square foot. Unlike wet cleaning methods, HOST does not
leave carpets wet with dirty wastewater that can lead to mold
and mildew growth.
- Reduces dust mites and dust mite allergens by 75%
- Reduces cat allergen and mold spores by 85%
- Lifts matted carpet while removing soil
- Carpets are dry and ready for immediate use
In a test of in-home carpet cleaners reported by America’s leading consumer magazine, HOST was the only product rated “excellent”.
Upholstery:
The hot steam extraction upholstery machine uses a non-toxic,
biodegradable, odorless soap. The upholstery is sanitized, cleaned
and deodorized, eliminating allergens including pet dander,
pet hair and household bacteria.
For more than 50 years, the HOST® Dry Carpet Cleaning System
has been the premier dry extraction system on the market.
For use in both residential and commercial settings, HOST
works better than hot water or steam methods. And, since
it is a dry process, you can walk on the carpet immediately
after cleaning – meaning zero downtime.
How The HOST System Works
- Removes dry dirt.
- Lifts the pile.
- Deep cleans carpet and removes spots and spills immediately.
Millions of tiny, absorbent sponge-like particles that contain trace amounts of water and cleaning agents deep clean by dissolving and trapping greasy, oily dirt. HOST offers a better clean and the environmental benefits of using the system make it the system of choice!

HOST Dry Carpet Cleaner meets Green Seal’s
environmental standard for industrial cleaners based
on its reduced human and aquatic toxicity and reduced
smog production potential.
